Ce bateau de combat est la nouvelle pépite de la Marine nationale. Quatre sont déjà en opérations et d’autres sont en construction dans le port de Lorient.
Comment une telle machine est-elle fabriquée ? Comment opère-t-elle en mer ?
À l’heure où les menaces auxquelles font face les différentes armées du monde sont protéiformes, les navires de guerre et leur équipage doivent être capables de répondre à des missions variées et complexes.
C’est pourquoi la construction d’un tel navire est une aventure humaine et technologique exceptionnelle qui oppose de nombreux défis aux ingénieurs et aux marins qui les conduisent en opérations.
– Imagine a battleship capable of sinking a submarine, shooting down a fighter, or destroying an enemy ship hundreds of miles away.
– Imagine a boat of 6,000 tons and 142 meters long as discreet as a fishing boat.
– Imagine the same boat, equipped with a computer brain capable of analyzing everything that happens in its environment.
This fighting boat is the new nugget of the Navy. Four are already in operation and others are under construction in the port of Lorient.
